Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
